Stuck on my axis
I am patient
Finding balance
Finding reason
Finding myself
I have been running
Chasing what I thought was in one place
Pushing the stars behind my eyes
Waiting every day
I became invisible
A meaningless microcosm
Getting paid under the table
Alive to simply “keep the system moving”
Stuck in a closet
Where I became so lonely
I named the trees
And at night, they talked to me
Through their shadows on my white walls
Where the paint was chipping
And the black dust from the streets
Stained my sheets
…It is a wonderful place
full of bright lights and lonely people
Rushing, working, fighting
Trying desperately not to disappear
Trying to be someone
Be recognized, a face everyone knows
The life of the party,
The gem of the city
To be seen
“Be discovered”
But everyone walks with their heads down
Everyone has grey eyes because no one can sleep
Everyone wants more, no one is satisified
“Voir Mes Os” is beautiful
They crave bones, not curves
There is beauty undiscovered
That lies within the stone and rain
The winding paths and subway trains
That take you to the next one
Where you’re “just not right” again.
They were corny, surface charachters
that would only be alive for 45 to 60 seconds
Just my voice
Just my smile
This is not my craft
This is plastic, empty, and money hungry
I dont do it for the money
I do it for the feeling
For the truth
For the escape
For the discoveries
I was becoming plastic
Empty
and money hungry
Full of envy, jealousy
Craving perfection
Craving bones
Becoming jaded
Because its all so fake
No one is happy because nothing is honest
I would run along the river
and breathe finally at the sight of nature
The water moving fast some days
And not at all the next
Nothing is certain
Nothing is constant
Everything is temporary
Just like the fame that people crave
It will live as long as their beauty will last
I am more than 45 to 60 seconds
I am not craving to be known
I simply crave happiness
to the core
Financial stability
Natural beauty
I crave peace and simplicity
And so I am doing things differently
Though in limbo at the moment…
As I lure the many rabits from my hat
Putting them all on pedestals
And discovering what magic will happen next.

this is very good to see
Thank you!
very beautiful. all of this…
thanks so much
This is the first poetry blog that I have seen that I like. Nice job. Nice work. Keep writing. You have something to say and you do it well.
Thank you so much. I appreciate that. Even when I try to write a “journal entry” or “pros” it turns into poetry…not sure exactly how it happens. Its just the way things come out I guess. But thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate that.
I dig your journey…thanks for sharing.

some of the stuff you write really reach deep down and touch. the blind boy, for instance. keep it up.
Thank you so much.
That is really good to hear.
Great work, and It seems you and I have a lot in common when it comes to our passions. You do lovely work different from my own style, but yet I can completely relate. I look forward to reading more of your work and thanks for visiting. Take care and I hope you find the things that make you happy, and your work becomes a great success.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your comments. They are very thoughtful. I hope the same for you, both happiness and success. I really enjoy your blog. It seems as though we both find quite a bit of happiness in darkness.
Indeed, thanks for visiting my website I am rather glad you did. I look forward to reading your comments in the future. Till then take care.
wow. just wow. i haven’t read through everything you have up here yet, but i certainly plan to. if all of it is as good as what i’ve read so far, you are a great writer, and an even better poet. don’t stop writing.
My goodness, thank you so much.
I really appreciate that, a lot.
Please keep reading- as I will keep writing.
I’d love for you to leave your input.
I appreciate all honesty.
Thanks again. Glad it speaks to you.
you have some fantastic work on this blog, both poetry and photography. Hope you update it soon.
Thank you so much…I will be posting some soon. Life gets so hectic sometime. But I appreciate the encouragement. I will get some more things posted!
Your poetry is as vivid and powerful as your photography. “No Other Yoko” is probably my favourite.
Very cool blog you’ve got here…please keep writing!
Your poetry is quite exceptional. You have a unique voice, and it is yours. I can tell that you don’t “try” to sound a certain way, but rather you find your voice through your craft, and it comes through naturally and exquisitely.
Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate what you’ve said. I am quite flattered.
Great blog! I’m enjoying exploring your site.
